First PSN, now Sony shutdowns their SOE network!

This morning those on their PC's waking up to play the many massive online multi-player games that Sony publishs like Everquest got instead this nice message from Station.com : Quote: "Dear valued SOE Customers, We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. We will provide an update later today (Monday)." It seems Sony has some spill-over from their last week PSN problems, with now being forced to takedown the rest of their other servers! Does that mean even more CC's or database's were taken during the April 17th-19th, 2011 "external intrusion" then what Sony has so far been telling us

Wii U Revealed

Recently Nintendo came up with an announcement officially announcing a system to succeed the Wii console.

They in addition announced that it would be launched within the 2012, and playable console units will be existing at E3 2011. Discussing at an investor's convention, Nintendo Top dog Satoru Iwata claimed the Nintendo wii console successor "will will offer you interesting things for home game devices."

Iwata furthermore affirmed that the successor to Wii console isn't going to kick off in FY2012, meaning that it will release after Apr 2012. A prototype version of Wii U was exhibited at the E3 this year. The appearance of the console and game controller were not definitive versions. Nintendo-published game titles which are confirmed are LEGO City Stories, a new Super Smash Bros game as well as a fresh Pikmin title. A summary of third party game titles was announced to be presented at release, and were on show with clips extracted from Playstation 3 Slim and Xbox 360 Elite models.
