Dish Network is still on a mission to make sure that you get your TV Everywhere, and as of today, that means your Android tablet. We reported in November that the provider was bringing its Dish remote access app to Android, opening up the world of paid-for TV to even more smartphones. As with the smartphone app, Android tablet users will have to have a Sling-enabled device, like a Sling Adapter, to access their hard earned programming, and as with the smartphone, the tablet app is free. The Dish Network app's got all the same functionality as its predecessor: browse and search options, DVR scheduling/management, and a remote control function. So it's basically the same beast, but we're definitely still impressed.Dish Network remote access app extends its long arm to Android tablets originally appeared on Engadget on Fri, 07 Jan 2011 01:40:00 EDT. BLOG: The Glitch Gremlin Visits Super Mario All-Stars Wii!
With video!
The other night while I was playing Super Mario All-Stars Wii (you can read my review here), I noticed that something was going on in Super Mario Bros. 2. While playing level 4-1, the characters started to jump around, the scenery disappeared, and everything went crazy. That's when I realized... I GOT A VISIT FROM THE GLITCH GREMLIN! It was a very odd event. I hadn't experienced a game glitch in ages, much less old-school glitches like the one I just saw. I did get video, but only of a part of it. By the time I started recording, the glitch gremlin had gone home. Still it was an interesting event!

Archos 70 and 101 Internet Tablet review
We've seen our fair share of budget tablets from the Augens, Cobys, and Viewsonics of the world over the last six months, but let's not forget that before everyone and their mother jumped into the cheap-o Android tablet pool, Archos was already in the shallow end with its own sub-$200 tablets. But, while the company was first to market, products like the Archos 5 and 7 Home Tablet certainly weren't anything to wait in line for -- they both packed slow processors, resistive displays, and ran outdated versions of Google's mobile OS. Whether it was the mediocre reviews or the competition coming up behind them, the French company knew it was time to step it up, and its Archos 70 and 101 attempt to right all those wrongs. The 7- and 10-inch tablet both have Android 2.2, 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processors, and capacitive screens. Oh, and don't forget the front-facing VGA cameras. With each ringing up at $299, has Archos finally mastered the art of the cheap tablet? Find out in our full review! Writeup on the Wiikey Fusion chip
This product is obviously developed by team wiikey. What makes the wiikey fusion stand out from similar products allready available on the market? Well, it allows for a completely solderless, plug-and-play installation..
It supports loading games from SDHC, SD, and MicroSD cards.
Wiikey fusion is compatible with DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, D2C-2, D2E, D3, D3-2 and D4 drive chipsets.
With wiikey fusion chip installed you can run Wii and Gamecube import and backup games.
And blunders regarding the setup? Well, the primary disadvantage for the wiikey fusion setup is most likely the registration process at wiikey.cn that is required in order to download firmware for your modchip.
In conclusion, wiikey fusion has a really good product with a good amount of excellent features. It could be well worth spending the time it will require to have a closer look at it, maybe even try it out. Full details are available at the official site wiikey.cn

Apple job listing calls for Verizon iPad engineer, hints at a lot more
Do you "have enterprise sales experience and an existing knowledge of the mobile market and the technologies that support it?" Do you "have strong IT knowledge in the areas of enterprise messaging and collaboration, VPN, WiFi and enterprise security technologies?" And most importantly, do you "possess the ability to work without direct supervision or detailed direction?" If so, you might just be suitable for Apple's latest and greatest job listing. The HR team in Cupertino is apparently looking for a Verizon iPad system engineer, primarily to work with Apple's sales team and legions of business partners in order to "drive the adoption of iPad in enterprise accounts." What's interesting is the Verizon angle; if Apple simply wanted nondescript iPads in Corporate America, why hire someone familiar with Big Red? Moreover, this certainly says something about Apple's relationship with Verizon -- namely, that it's growing, and we're guessing that the pleasantries will eventually extend far beyond a tablet. So yeah, it's no real shocker that Apple and Verizon are in cahoots on some level, but this kind of invitation usually comes with one or two undercover intentions. Any upstanding gentleman attached to his better half would understand.Apple job listing calls for Verizon iPad engineer, hints at a lot more originally appeared on Engadget on Mon, 13 Dec 2010 15:24:00 EDT.
